He wondered if the minstrel would return to play again or who else would come through his door. A slight chill ran his soine and the room felt cold, an oddity for this time of year. Without waiting the barkeep tossed another log into the cold fireplace and set in ablaze. A sudden bit of warmth filled the room and the barkeep rubbed his hands and turned back towards the bar**

2005-09-30 [travs the bean]: The lights outside flashed with the lightning and the barkeep smiled to himself. It felt right a cool night as he stood near the warmth of the fire in the empty barroom**

2005-10-06 [travs the bean]: **the barkeep poured himself a glass as well** so what brings you here** he asked and then paused- something felt wrong he could sense it upstairs- intruders. He smiled over at alexi and looked around for sylvia or jynx. those buggers still want it, wont leave me alone either he thought to himself and sighed**

2005-10-06 [alexi]: not sure a just started riding and i wound up here, although im not sure why.

2005-10-06 [travs the bean]: ** the bar was indeed empty and the barkeep looked a little perplexed at the young lady** sit anywhere you like- it's been a very quiet night

2005-10-06 [alexi]: *blushes and clears throught* i uh must be more tired than i thought. *walks over to a table in a corner*

2005-10-06 [Ryuk Kannagi]: -grumbles as he comes into view, tossing to people on the ground- These guys friends of something, cause they were snooping around my room and the hallway

2005-10-07 [Igorina]: Jynx trotted leisurely into view, went behind the bar and tapped Travs on the back of the knee. " Relief's here, old fellow..." she said and hopped up onto her stool. She flashed him a feckless smile and added in a murmur, " Sorry I'm late, I'm afraid you'll see why when you get upstairs. Holler if you need me..."

2005-10-07 [Kileaiya]: Kileaiya walked in and sat at the bar, "I'll take a fire water, if you please."

2005-10-07 [travs the bean]: ** the barkeep nodded quietly and headed into kitchen, his cleaver held tightly in his hand. He left jynx to tend the bar as he dissappeared from veiw**

2005-10-07 [Igorina]: " Coming up, darlin' " said Jynx and cheerfully took Ki's money and served up her drink. " How's yar day selling goods been? " she asked Ki.

2005-10-07 [Akayume]: Akayume stretched, a yawned.

2005-10-07 [Igorina]: The odd young man by this time had fallen asleep at the bar. He twitched and mumbled a bit under his cloak. Jynx poked him. " Got any money for the floor, handsome? " she asked flatly. He stared drowsily at her and then looked down at his wrists and a brief look of astonishment crossed his face. " Wh-where...? " he began and then looked around and his thoughts seemed to clear. He dug in his pockets and pulled out his mix of buttons and coins. Jynx sighed, picked out a copper and the young man stumbled off to a bench by the fire and assumed a curious position. He lay himself down on his back with his arms rigid against his side and his legs carefully stretched out and straight.

2005-10-07 [Akayume]: Akayume raised an eyebrow at the young man. hhmm..... she thought for a while, then went back to minding her own bussness

2005-10-07 [Igorina]: He pulled his cloak over himself and promptly went back to sleep. There couldn't have hardly been a more wretched-looking being...or for that matter more puzzling...

2005-10-07 [Akayume]: AKayume soon became interested, so, she watched the man out of the corner of her eye.

2005-10-08 [Kileaiya]: "It has been decent Jynx, I had a curious old man stop by" she said with an odd look upon her face. She finished her drink and stood, "Well I best be heading back."

2005-10-08 [Skife]: Bethel came downstairs and looked around. She smiled seeing that it was hardly crowed save for the halfling behind the bar, a few patrons, and the man sleeping by the fire. She took a stool at the bar and tapped her fingers on the bar muttering to herself. “If those two get any closer I shall have to buy my own room, or them one.” She looked over at Jnyx and asked “Can I get just some water, I fear anything else shall make me sick.”

2005-10-15 [Skife]: Bethel glanced over at Alexi, "A healer? Can you get a mental image out of my head?" She thought for a moment then shook her head, "No... no you can't. There is only one thing that can cure this." Bethel turned back to Jnyx, "I have changed my mind, forget the water I would like an ale."

2005-10-15 [Igorina]: Jynx smirked broadly. " Non-watered down I'm presumin' darlin' " She took Bethel's coins and drew a pint for her and slid it towards her. " Long live love, eh?" she said and shrugged.
